DevOps team Lead

Responsibilities:
- Drive automation of infrastructure and deployment systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate the configuration management, build, release, deployment, and monitoring processes.
- Support engineering teams with infrastructure needs.
- Work towards server build, application deployment and configuration.
- Monitoring and administration of the servers and applications.
- Bring best practices to the table.
- Build processes and methodologies to implement new solutions.
- Contribute and create a motivated work environment within the team.
- Mentor other team members and promote opportunities.
- Work with data science teams to design for data Science model deployments.
- Develop and deliver a CI/CD pipeline for all big data and analytics projects.
- Develop tools and libraries that will enable rapid and scalable development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in fields of Computer Science, Statistics or an equivalent.
- Should have experience with leading a team of DevOps Engineers.
- Should possess good communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders.
- Should have strong background in Linux, Windows Server administration, setup, and configuration.
- Should have experience with scripting tools – bash, python, PS.
- Should have experience with networking setup TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL/TLS, VPN, etc.
- Should have experience working with large scale distributed systems and service- oriented architectures.
- Should have experience in deploying workloads in production environment, troubleshooting defects, improving performance.
- Should have experience working with containerization technologies– Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Fargate.
- Should have in depth knowledge of Compute and Networking services like EC2, S3, RDS, ASG, ELB, VPC, System Manager, IAM, Elastic Beanstalk, Cloud Watch, CloudTrail.
- Should have experience building applications with AWS services– API Gateway, Lambda, EMR, Glue, DynamoDB.
- Should have strong understanding of DevOps tools/process/methodologies.
- Should have experience setting up and maintaining big data pipelines, Serverless stacks and containers infrastructure.
- Should have Good Experience in Automation tools (terraform, Ansible with Systems Manager, Packer).
- Experience with common MLOps tools like MLFlow, Kubeflow, Sagemaker is a plus.
- Exposure to either of the NoSQL database (Hbase, mongodb, Redis) is a plus.
