What We Solved
Commission processing and producer payouts
ENGAGEMENT
Custom build
Agencies and producers were waiting on commission payouts that took too long and arrived with errors. The cause was upstream: carrier statements arrive in no standard format, and without automated workflows the entire process depended on people interpreting diverse carrier files by hand.
Reconciliation was a constant struggle. There was no centralized system to ingest, parse, classify, and calculate commissions, which made the process error-prone, time-consuming, and impossible to scale as the book grew.
An end-to-end commission automation platform.
It begins with carrier template design, where seventy statement formats were mapped into parsing templates. A file intake interface allows users to upload carrier statements. The commission engine parses those files to extract new and renewal premiums, classifies the data by agency, producer, product, and period, and auto-calculates commissions using carrier-specific rules. The payout system then generates NACHA files for direct deposit, creates PDF commission statements for each producer and agency, and records transactions for future reconciliation, including cancellations and chargebacks.

customer satisfaction
Commission reconciliation scales linearly with the size of a book unless something changes, which makes it one of the few operational problems that reliably gets worse with growth. Agencies, brokerages, and MGAs all encounter their own version of it.
